Let me know what you think!
It happens to us all
We fly into the past
To escape the future.
We run away to hide
From that which will always
Come to find us again.
The broken memories
Wilting the beautiful
Daisies of early spring.
A starry dotted night
Is blackened by our own
Lack of self confidence.
We go where others won’t
Yet we will not go first,
Acting like a hero
Hiding what is inside,
All of the times we lied.
Any diversity
Defeating us at each
Turn of the bright white moon.
We run, but it will not
Ever be good enough
To escape what is right
Who takes the dawn’s first light
That takes away the night
Right on time each morning.
Who fights for what is right
And lives not of their past
But decides their future.
Wrong is separated
Here from all that is right,
The life giving daytime
Meets the comatose night,
And a line must be drawn.

Where is the hero
A bit seriousness anyone?
What is now claimed as difference
Was once claimed as normalcy
And what will soon be treated as normal
Could have been cast down in the past
Is there an appealing reason for indifference
Why do those who live in the higher
Reaches of unreachable life
Cast down those who are considered lower
Where is the right?
Once in awhile,
It happens.
Those who are weak, are made strong
Those cast down, are brought forth
To the destined greatness
But will no one notice the place
In which they were brought from
Who will stop from more being cast out
Must more suffer?
I will call the one who resists
A hero,
Someone different,
Never normal,
But never alone
What is now claimed as difference
Was once claimed as normalcy
And what will soon be treated as normal
Could have been cast down in the past
Is there an appealing reason for indifference
Why do those who live in the higher
Reaches of unreachable life
Cast down those who are considered lower
Where is the right?
Once in awhile,

Those cast down, are brought forth
To the destined greatness
But will no one notice the place

Who will stop from more being cast out
Must more suffer?
I will call the one who resists
A hero,
Someone different,
Never normal,
But never alone

Sharing a Smile, a sonnet
i think this is my first non school written sonnet
The sun is shining down upon my face,
Coming here to cast my cares away.
It’s coming here to take me from this place,
Maybe, to eventually return one day.
The piercing moonlight brightens our dark sky,
Attempting to give to those that have none.
Its flying way up in the sky, so high,
Seizing the opportunity of fun.
I take this perfect time to smile,
As a child would, with a brand new toy.
Giving my time to others for awhile,
I am only here to bring you more joy.
Give out this joy and I promise to you,
You will learn, that even you love a few.

Everyone has that someone
This poem was written for my sister while i was in florida during christmas. It made her cry and i was happy because i think it made her quite happy.
Enjoy!
Everyone has that someone
A person in their life to call a friend
The one who will defend
When times are the worst or the best
They will put their troubles to rest
Everyone has that someone
Who brightens the light of their day
With open arms and a warm smile
In them you find it will be okay
For they make your night become day
When life is molding you like clay
Everyone has that someone
To show them the line
Drawn between dark and light
Maturity flows from them
Helping you to grow and sow
So that you will reap as you need
They offer you a source of truth
When lies are all around
Everyone has that someone
The one to look up to
The one to model
The one you can call a hero
The one who is my big sister
Enjoy!

How about a song?
Here is a song i have written, it has music to it and in fact, me friend and i will soon be recording it!
So here it is!
You Make Me Smile
why put happiness on as a disguise
i see the hurt filled look in your eyes
But should you choose,
i will give you a smile you could never lose.
Because you make me smile,
and you make me cry
no mattter what comes true
ill know i never lied.
And now i know, it will be okay
you now have something to say
it may be long overdue
but ill know its true
Because you make me smile,
you make me cry
and no mattter what comes true
ill know i never lied.
When you make me smile
it makes me want to cry
and when it all comes true
i know how hard i've tried
Because you make me smile,
you make me cry
and no mattter what comes true
ill know i never lied
So here it is!
You Make Me Smile
why put happiness on as a disguise
i see the hurt filled look in your eyes
But should you choose,

Might as well start from the beginning
I would consider this the beginning of my writing. I had wrote stuff in elementary but this is where i would consider myself writing poetry.
This one is called
Disaster
Burning buildings and crashing cars
All hit by the same tragedy
All of them hit by the punch in the face
The stab in the back
The unwanted death of happiness
People jump of windows in disorder
Planes go down with the pilot shooting his friend
Bridges tremble with the shock of untrustworthy drivers
Oceans overflow with greed, hate, and anger
Flames roll in on crashing waves
Shoved by forceful hurricane winds
Dark thunderclouds drop black hail
The size of fifty caliber bullets
Disaster strikes us and hits us hard
Demolishing all that we hold dear
It brings down all the walls we build up
Crumbling them like God's hand
Swooping down from heaven
Yet all the while there is one driver who is unaffected
Untouched by this disaster of great magnitude
Because he can see the person next to him and
Say I'm still here
The stuff in red was added at a later date because i felt it was too short. So let me know what you think!

My First blog, A little about myself.
I am not really sure what i am doing here. I mean I am sitting here thinking "What the heck is this for?" But really i do know the answer to that, it's to get my name out there is just another way. You, the reader might be asking yourself "What's he talking about?" The answer is actually pretty simple.
I am an artist. I may be considered amateur, however i am still one. Which is really exciting. I love creativity and imagination because it is where you find your true self. It's not what is on the outside but when it comes to creativity and imagination what is buried down inside you is brought up.
First, I write. I consider myself a poet. I have been writing since freshman year. With that also comes writing songs, which is somewhat poetry but i consider them songs because i sing them in my head and i hear music. Which bring me to me playing the drums and i'm a beginner guitarist, i just know chords when it comes to that. Lastly, i make music. It's somewhat electronica/ techno/trance stuff, but i make it so i like it :).
For those who don't know me, i'm 5"9 and 153 lbs.(beacuse you needed to know) i have dark brown almost black eyes and lightish brown hair. I lift weights and my bike on the bike trail when i am able for my physical shape.
